This will be the last time I post anything here. After 21 years as senior pastor at Thistletown, I am moving on to other things. I have taken the position of Retreat Centre Director at Liebenzell Mission Canada. Then in August I will become the volunteer co-ordinator for their short termers who come to Canada from Germany. We are excited about the possibilities of hosting retreats and camps and also of helping pastors and other Christian workers get away for a break and spiritual renewal. There are all kinds of great possibilities. Heather is as much a part of this new work as I am in hosting events and travelling for the mission.

Leaving a church after twenty-one years is a strange experience. Life changes and I can only pray that God has used and will continue to use our efforts to bear fruit that will really matter. The church called Pastor Bell to be the new senior pastor and we are confident that this is from God. It is great to be able to leave and know that God has called and prepared such a fine young man.

So, I hope the intermittent articles and other things I have posted for you have done more good than harm. Now that Pastor Bell is taking charge of it, you will no doubt notice some improvements. i couldn’t be happier.

God bless, whoever you are,

Ken Davis
